Dr. Christian Lange-Hausstein is the Lead Counsel for the implementation of eIDAS 2 at Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, driving the integration of secure digital identity solutions at scale. He also leads legal oversight for the deployment of generative AI tools embedded in the group’s core banking systems. As a former member of the EU Commission’s Expert Group on Regulatory Obstacles to Financial Innovation, Christian has shaped policy at the intersection of technology, innovation, and regulation.
